Dear Passengers, we would like to welcome you to the new webpages we have been preparing for more than a year in co-operation with the company eSports s.r.o. Come and have a look at the new functions they offer.

Our webpages and reservation system are one of the first points of contact with our company for the great majority of our passengers, for which reason we have incorporated a large number of requests from our passengers, employees and partners into the development of the system. We would now like to acquaint you with their new features and improvements.

Compulsory registration

We have decided to make registration compulsory in our new reservation system. Perhaps you are asking why. There are a number of reasons, though they all lead to improving the reservation process. The first reason is the relevance of entering the contact details (such as an e-mail address or mobile telephone number) we use to send confirmations and extraordinary information. It used to be the case that passengers would often enter their forename twice, provide the wrong telephone number or state the wrong domain for their e-mail address, meaning that they would never receive confirmation. This confirmation serves for the verification of the correct date and the selected passenger tariff or seat number.

Another reason is to avoid the misuse of our reservation system. We try to be open with our passengers and to let them pay for their ticket when they board the coach. Over the five years our company has been operating routes to Switzerland, however, there have been many of the kind of passengers who have repeatedly created fictitious reservations or repeatedly failed to take up their reservation. Each of these unused reservations caused our company financial damage that we calculate adds up to more than 5,000,000 CZK over the course of five years, to say nothing of the fact that any time spent needlessly waiting for a passenger may threaten the prompt arrival of the coach at its destination meaning that other passengers may miss their connections. Our new reservation system should prevent this kind of negative occurrence.

Personal account

Each passenger need enter just the required data when creating an account, i.e. forename, surname, e-mail address and mobile telephone number. The one-off verification of these contact details using an e-mail link or six-figure code in an SMS text message is then required. Passengers will now be able to have two telephone numbers in their profile (e.g. a Czech number and a Swiss number) and chose the number to which they want confirmation of reservation sent when making a reservation. Personal accounts will initially offer passengers an overview of all their reservations and details on their current reservations. We are also preparing new features for the future, including the option of monitoring the location of the coach and its planned arrival at a destination.

A clear overview of connections and times

Searches for connections are now to be part of the homepage at www.noblessline.cz, meaning that passengers will no longer have to click to other sections or other pages. The connection search will show a graphic differentiation of day and night connections, arrival and departure times, the number of vacant seats and an overview of the services provided on individual connections. These details will also be displayed clearly on mobile devices such as telephones and tablets.

Three language versions, three currencies and the option of on-line payment

Our company operates a total of three scheduled routes intersecting the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, for which reason our reservation system will continue to feature three language versions – Czech, German and English. Passengers will now also be able to choose their preferred currency in which they want prices for individual stages to be displayed. They will also be able to choose the currency in which they want to pay for their tickets. We will still be accepting all three currencies – CZK, CHF and EUR. Prices will continue to be fixed in the individual currencies so that passengers will always be certain how much they will pay. A new feature is the option of paying for tickets directly by card in the reservation system and merely showing proof of identity (identity card, passport) when boarding the coach.

Final summary, accompanying services and payment

When you make a reservation, you will be able to add accompanying services to your reservation, such as non-standard luggage or a bicycle for a fee or skis or a snowboard for free, so that we know about this luggage and can increase the capacity of our luggage spaces if necessary. Your reservation will be completed when you select your payment option. You will still be able to pay in cash when you board the coach or pay in advance by payment card on-line. Special cancellation conditions apply if you pay by card (one change of travel date free, cancellation 4 hours or more before departure for a 5% fee and cancellation less than 4 hours before departure for a 10% fee).
